    "Major von Parseval / mit seinem lenkbaren Luftschiff in Zürich." with an inset showing the pioneering aviator, unused sepia-tone real photo postcard prominently showing the pioneering dirigible balloon from the side, P/RA in the stamp box, oxidation mostly near the bottom front border, good edges. Flights to Zurich were attempted (& sometimes accomplished) to partially satisfy military specifications. The Major was a retired German officer and his designs competed against those of Major Von Gross & Count Zeppelin. This airship wrecked and fell into Lake Plau in April 1910.
