Knozer, Wien, IV., Favoritenstr.4 / Ruf 50-606" with caption taken from violet handstamp on back, side view of 4 people seated within a luxury Hispano-Suiza automobile, a butler spreading a lap robe on the rear seat passengers, 2 security people staring intently over the hood & a man at the back of the car apparently directing oncoming traffic around the vehicle. Real photo postcard with exemplary focus & contrast, excellent condition. Because the vehicle was a Rolls-Royce rival at the time, and because the Knozer firm photographed Austro-Hungarian royalty such as Zita, we suspect that the passengers are lower nobility (their attendants are not uniformed & the vehicle is not chauffeured, so it is not higher) & that this Photokarte was not mass-produced. The violet handstamp would simply tell the aristocratic family where they could get extra copies; Ruf means call & the phone number is sufficiently complex that the timeframe is the early 1920's. $45.00 aa NEW / NEU / NOVA
